Offline editing unit 16 assignment 2

We have finally finished are preparing to edit part of creating a music video. We have rearranged, changed and chosen which clips we will use for our music video.

Fist day: Kirsty was away on the first day that we started to pre-edit so Kamil and I started looking through the footage and checking for any errors like continuity. Once we did this, Kamil started to write the corrections on the storyboard whilst I started the rush log. Kamil and I shared the work on the rush log and once we finished we started the editing decision list.

Second day: On the second day Kirsty was back so Kirsty and I finished off the editing decision list. We then put the footage into bins with our names on, this means that we know who filmed what clips and what we can use for our raw material.

My Role: Me role was to take pictures of the pre- edit process, for example the timeline and viewing boxes.

There was no changes to the storyboard because we kept the story the same after we had made a few adjustments. This means that the actual music video footage and storyboard are the same

Here are some screen grabs of the timeline from our music video on Adobe Premiere.

This is the first half of our online edit, we got through half of the clip by putting in and out points on each clip to crop the unwanted parts.

This picture is of both screens being used to edit the footage, then watch the entire footage on the right hand side

This is a picture of our final timeline, with all the clips for our music video.
